YAFFO (young and far from old…although we are getting older) will gather on September 11th at 6:30pm. Samantha and Conor will host dinner. We will be discussing prayer. The document is too big to post, so please contact Samantha if you are attending and need the discussion questions, or any other information.

Sr EYC Beach Party

The Sr. EYC will have a beach party at Bob and Pamela’s home. It will be on August 29th and begin at 5pm. Make sure to bring a bathing suit. Contact the office for Pamela’s address.

Senior High Class

Our senior high class is for 9th through 12th graders. We meet every Sunday during the school year. We use a curriculum based on the lectionary. It incorporates clips from movies as well as music. The goal is for the youth to better understand the Bible and how it might apply to their lives. The Senior High class works in cooperation with the Senior EYC.

Junior High Class

Our junior high class is comprised of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who meet every Sunday during the school year. This class not only prepares the youth for confirmation but also for everyday life, so they can apply their faith. The junior high class works in cooperation with our EYC program.

YAFFO- July Social Event

Because it is summer, we decided to take a break from the dinner and discussion format and work on our bowling skills. The date will be July 10th and 7pm. The location will be announced. By the way, YAFFO is a young adult group that is open to both 20’s and 30’s but seems to have mostly 30’s. Talk to Samantha if you have any questions or would like to be on the e-mail list.

EYC winding down for the summer

The Jr. & Sr. EYC had a great year with lots of exciting events. We ended with a pool party for both groups. On June 27th, the Sr. EYC will leave for a week in Pittsburgh, where we will be doing work with the Pittsburgh project and hopefully having some fun as well. In the end of July, members of the EYC will be helping with Vacation Bible School. If we have something else this summer, we will be sure to post it here.
