Welcome! We are a Eucharistically-centered Christian community committed to sharing the
knowledge and love of Jesus Christ through worship, teaching, fellowship, outreach and
personal example.
The Church of the Ascension is a parish within the Episcopal Diocese of Southern
Virginia and a part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. Our central act of
worship is the Holy Eucharist, also known as the Holy Communion or Lord's Supper.
Our Joint Thanksgiving Service with Talbot Park Baptist Church and Royster Presbyterian Church will be Wednesday night, November 26 at 7:00 pm at Talbot Park Baptist Church, 6919 Granby Street. Please join us!
