Stewardship includes giving of one's time, talent, and treasure. It is our opportunity to gratefully return to God what has been given to us. We encourage you to include all three areas of stewardship as you participate in parish life.
In the fall on Stewardship Sunday we invite you to make a pledge to support the Lord's work at Church of the Ascension. We reach out to one another through our pledge drive. If you would like to be a part of this endeavor please contact the Church office. A pledge can be made at any time during the year. Envelopes are available upon request.
If you have not yet begun a regular practice of giving we encourage you to do so.

Stewardship Statement
We, the Vestry, hereby acknowledge that a tithing of our time, talent, and a treasure is a critical and necessary way of witnessing to our faith and sharing of it with those around us. We believe that tithing is not limited to sharing a financial portion to sustain God's work but also includes sharing ourselves and our time in reaching others through outreach, education, church and community involvement. Tithing is meant to include all of our charitable giving, to the extent that such gifts, including our time and talents minister to the needs of others within our church, our community, and our world.
We urge you to give the Lord's share with a loving, cheerful, enthusiastic attitude, which reflects God's gift to each of us. To this end, each member of this vestry, has already or is now adopting a personal pledge that will bring us to the joyful sharing of a tithe of our bounty in God's work in the years ahead. As the leadership of our parish, we urge your prayerful consideration of joining us in this commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ.
